GAYLAND HAMMACK - Retired Sergeant
with 27 years with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Gayland
has worked 17 years in the field of Special Operations and has
supervised Technical Surveillance units. He has been a certified P.O.S.T.
instructor since 1987 and was the training coordinator for the Las Vegas
Metropolitan Police Department. He has been a Master-Core instructor for
the State of Nevada since 1992. He has supervised Task Forces involving
D.E.A., F.B.I., B.A.T.F., I.N.S., I.R.S. and U.S. Customs. He has
conducted investigations in a number of States, Southeast Asia and
Eastern Europe. He is considered an expert in the field of Covert
Operations, Electronic Surveillance and Money Laundering. Gayland has
provided training to Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the United
States, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.
CHARLIE FULLER -
is a retired Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF).
He has 27 years of law enforcement experience with expertise in undercover,
electronic surveillance, and training. He was a Program Manager at the ATF
National Academy for six years where he was responsible for the undercover/field
operations training. Charlie is the author of The Art of Undercover: Techniques
and Survival, the complete "how to work undercover" book. He currently
presents undercover, electronic surveillance and physical surveillance training
KYLE RAU -
Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree with majors in Criminal Justice and
Political Science from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. Kyle
has almost 18 years of law enforcement experience, and is currently
employed as a US Postal Inspector based in Chicago, IL. Prior to his
current employment, he was a Detective with the City of Appleton
Police Department in Wisconsin. While at the Appleton Police
Department, he specialized in crimes against children, cyber
investigations, narcotics, and forensic analysis of computer and
digital devices. Kyle is a certified forensic examiner, and has
been accepted as an expert witness in forensic computer analysis in
both state and federal courts. Kyle has specialized in the area of
Dark Web and Virtual Currency investigations since early 2014 and
has become a subject matter expert in the area of analysis of
Virtual Currencies. Kyle has developed and has conducted training
for local, state, and federal agencies in the area of Dark Web
investigations and Virtual Currencies.
ROBERT ALMONTE –
Deputy Chief (Retired), El Paso Police Department
and former U. S. Marshal. Robert has 32 years of law
enforcement experience with expertise in narcotics investigations
and undercover work. He served as the United States Marshal
for the Western District of Texas from 2010 to 2016. He
previously served 25 years with the El Paso, TX Police Department
where he spent the majority of his career in narcotics
investigations and retired as a Deputy Chief. Robert has
provided training to thousands of law enforcement officers
throughout the US and abroad. He has spent years conducting
extensive research on the Mexican drug trade and how they pray for
protection from law enforcement.
PETER BOYCE - Peter is a lawyer in
private practice in the Atlanta, GA area. For much of his
career, Peter has counseled and defended police officers and
departments when threatened with suit or sued for allegations of
wrong doing. As an internationally recognized speaker and
instructor in many aspects of police civil liability and use of
force, he has had the privilege and pleasure of making presentations
to local, state, federal and foreign law enforcement officer
throughout the world on various liability issues associated with law
