A Five Day Classroom and Scenario Based Training Program

A five-day (36 hours) training program designed for law enforcement officers who supervise, or plan to supervise, narcotics, vice or street crimes units. The course is designed to provide supervisors with techniques, policies and methods they can use to make their units more efficient and safe while conducting operations. The curriculum will be presented by instructors who have over a hundred years of experience in undercover narcotics, vice and street crimes investigations. They bring together a wealth of knowledge and have designed a training program which goes to the very heart of teaching supervisors how to better manage and utilize their personnel.
No Weapons or Live Ammo Permitted in the Class or Practical Exercises.

Instructors
GUY DANIELS - Sgt. Guy Daniels is a twenty three-year veteran with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, with over sixteen years’ experience as a narcotics detective. Guy started his narcotics career with street-level tactical units where he participated in several hundred undercover operations over a sixteen-year narcotics career. During this time, he participated in several long-term undercover operations and was asked to join the DEA as a task force officer. Guy is a member of the Clandestine Laboratory Entrance Team as a certified site safety officer and is tasked with Meth related training for the department. He is currently assigned to the Vice Unit.
In 2007, Guy started S.W.A.N. Tactical Training as an organization specializing in narcotics based training for state and federal law enforcement. Since 2007, Guy has developed and instructed multiple classes related to narcotics and undercover techniques throughout the United States for State and Federal agencies to include: the U.S. Army, Drug Enforcement Administration, Nevada and Florida HITDA, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Narcotics Officers Association and the Annual Covert Operations Training Conference (Las Vegas, NV). Det. Daniels served with the 82nd Airborne Division and participated in combat operations in Iraq (Operations(s) Desert Shield and Desert Storm).
GAYLAND HAMMACK - Retired Sergeant with 27 years with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Gayland worked 17 years in the field of Special Operations and has supervised Technical Surveillance units. He has been a certified P.O.S.T. instructor since 1987 and was the training coordinator for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He has been a Master-Core instructor for the State of Nevada since 1992. He has supervised Task Forces involving D.E.A., F.B.I., B.A.T.F., I.N.S., I.R.S. and U.S. Customs. He has conducted investigations in a number of States, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. He is considered an expert in the field of Covert Operations Electronic Surveillance and Money Laundering. Gayland has provided training to Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the United States and foreign countries.
ROBERT ALMONTE - Retired Deputy Chief El Paso Police Department, and was the Commander of the Narcotics Section. Robert has 25 years experience with the El Paso Police Department and recently was the U. S. Marshal for the Western District of Texas. He was the 1999–2000 and 2002-2003 President of the Texas Narcotics Officers Association. Robert received national recognition as the 1999 “Outstanding HIDTA Task Force Commander” by The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
JENNIFER BENJAMINS – Currently a Sergeant with Las Vegas Metro Police, Gangs/Vice Bureau, Enforcement Team. Jennifer has 17 years of law enforcement experience, the majority of time spent working undercover operations in vice, narcotics and organized crime. She has worked as an investigator and an undercover with ATF, FBI, IRS, Homeland Security and NV Gaming Control Board. She is a court certified expert on the Pimp/Prostitution Subculture and has testified in numerous cases. Jennifer has been a certified P.O.S.T. instructor for ten years and teaches classes ranging from Vice Investigation, John/Pimp Reversals and Female Undercover Tactics. She provides training to hundreds of officers.
Training Site and Registration Information
The training program will be presented at The Flamingo Hotel, 3555 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109. The registration fee for the four-day training program is $495.00 per person. We accept cash, check or Visa/MasterCard/Amex. Group discounts are available. Tuition cost includes the cost of the instruction, handout materials, copy of The Art of Undercover: Techniques and Survival, and certificate of completion. Registration fee also includes one-year complimentary membership in The International Association of Undercover Officers.
